LSAT PATTERN AND SYLLABUS
The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is conducted every year by the Law School Admission Council in 24 exam centers in India. It is a test of advanced reading, inductive reasoning, and informal thinking abilities which help you excel in law colleges and law practices.
Eligibility: A candidate for the LSAT exam should have passed their 10+2 exam or an equivalent exam from a reputable university. The candidate must have received at least 45% in aggregate from a recognized university to be eligible for the LSAT examination.
Pattern of Examination
As per the examination pattern-
• The examination mode is of online mode.
• It consists of four sections of 92 multiple-choice questions. There is no negative marking.
• Candidates will be given a percentile rank, a score on a scale between 420 and 480, and a score band.
• The test medium is English
• The duration of time for the exam is 2 hours and 20 minutes
Syllabus:
• Analytical Reasoning- 23 MCQ (35 minutes)
• 1st Logical Reasoning- 22 MCQ (35 minutes)
• 2nd Logical Reasoning- 23 MCQ (35 minutes)
• Reading Comprehension- 24 MCQ (35 minutes)
For those taking the LSAT, there will be no breaks allowed. The amount of time allotted to each segment will be noted by the invigilators. The LSAT exam’s significant feature is that applicants’ legal knowledge is not examined. They are not tested on their aptitude for mathematics or subject matter related to current events. Candidates for the LSAT have to attempt questions centered on their critical thinking skills.
